🌟 About Us
Mandarīnu Zeme is a heartfelt social charity project created and implemented by the Cultural Society “Alternative Reality.”
We believe that every child deserves a miracle — joy, safety, and the feeling of being loved and valued.
The “Mandarīnu Zeme” project invites you to become part of an inspiring journey that has been changing children’s lives since 2013.
💛 Our Mission
We create bright and joyful moments for children from orphanages, boarding schools, low-income families, and for children with special needs.
Our goal is to give children faith in their own strength, help them make new friends, broaden their horizons, and learn to value such important qualities as friendship, trust, and kindness.
We strive to create an inclusive, safe, and inspiring environment where every child feels welcome and appreciated.
Through festive events, creative projects, and community initiatives, we promote empathy, creativity, kindness, and teamwork.
🎉 Our Activities and Achievements
Every winter and summer, we organize interactive events that bring not only joy but also valuable life skills to children.
Our Christmas celebrations have already gathered more than 3,600 children, including over 2,400 children from vulnerable groups.
In the summer, we host training camps in the spirit of chivalry, where children:
-
develop strength, courage, and friendship,
-
participate in sports and creative workshops,
-
learn teamwork, empathy, and responsibility.
And perhaps the most touching result of our work is that several children who once took part in Mandarīnu Zeme events have now grown up and returned as volunteers — to help organize the very celebrations that once inspired them.
This continuity of kindness is our greatest achievement and true reward.
🌍 Volunteers and Cooperation
The project is carried out by the society’s team together with 50–70 volunteers each year — people of different ages, nationalities, and cultures, united by the desire to give, share, and spread light.
Since 2019, the development of Mandarīnu Zeme has been supported by the European Solidarity Corps.
Thanks to this support, we are able to involve young volunteers from all over Europe, who help us organize activities for children while gaining new skills and contributing to their communities.
💖 Why It Matters
Our volunteer movement brings together children and young people from different social backgrounds, helping them find common ground, build respect, and develop compassion.
We believe that these encounters help shape a kinder, more understanding, and united society.
Each donation helps us provide children with free participation, warm meals, gifts, and educational materials.
